About the role
- Product Owner delivering and configuring travel tech products for CarTrawler's partners. Collaborating with teams to drive product value and enhancements in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Maximise the value of our products by delivering best-in-class integrations, optimising scalability and driving performance of products for existing partners
- Clearly articulate and manage requirements, working with stakeholders and the delivery team to break down, outline and refine user stories and acceptance criteria. Have a clear focus on always delivering business value
- Take ownership for successful delivery and launch of solutions, collaborating effectively across teams to manage dependencies and ensure successful outcomes
- Work closely with Product Managers to understand business and commercial context, priority and support definition of solutions
- Work closely with our Go-Live, Partner Management and Trading Teams to understand our partners technology and business requirements
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers and Engineering Managers to understand the capabilities of our products and the options for scaling and configuring them.
- Producing high quality artefacts related to business rules, requirements, features etc to ensure that information is readily available and clearly communicated to the wider organisation
- Identify opportunities for product improvements and support product managers in shaping product roadmap initiatives
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of a high performing team that deliver world-class products
Requirements
- 3 years' experience as a Product Owner in an agile environment, ideally delivering web and/or app products within an e-commerce context
- Agile / Scrum certification (e.g. CSPO, PSPO) is desirable.
- Third-level qualification in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline OR equivalent practical experience in a product, technology, or delivery role
- Strong understanding of lean/agile principles and the full software delivery lifecycle
- Experience gathering requirements from external stakeholders/partners and translating them into user stories/acceptance criteria
- Strong backlog management experience: refinement, prioritisation, dependency management, release planning
- Comfortable using data and KPIs to prioritise work and measure impact (e.g., conversion, performance, quality)
- Proven track record of collaborating effectively with engineers, designers, and senior leadership to drive product outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to apply both creative and analytical thinking to complex problem-solving
- Experience working across multiple devices and channels to deliver cohesive customer experiences
