About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality firmware for embedded systems running FreeRTOS or Linux.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and product managers, to define and implement product requirements.
- Support the MB platform by contributing to new feature development, bug fixes, and performance enhancements.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Document software designs, code, and test procedures to ensure maintainability and compliance.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues in deployed systems, stay current with emerging technologies related to embedded systems, FreeRTOS, and Linux.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, 2+ years of experience in firmware development for embedded devices.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
- Hands-on experience with RTOS (such as FreeRTOS) and/or Linux-based embedded environments.
- Ability to read schematics and interface with hardware.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
