Responsibilities
Assists the Director and Deputy Director of the Office of Event Management & Scheduling with high-profile events
Works closely with the Event Coordinators and the Deputy Director
Regularly engages with internal constituents, including faculty members and other staff
Acts as point of contact for outside organizations, board members, alumni and main campus colleagues
Requirements
5-7 years event planning experience, preferably within an academic or non-profit setting
Proven ability to balance multiple priorities and work independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of Social Tables, EMS and other event-specific software is a plus
Bachelor’s degree required
