Responsibilities
- Opportunity identification - To expand our offerings through new products, product bundling, and differentiated value propositions.
- Product/customer understanding - Understand our current products and customers in detail so we build things that matter.
- Data - Use data to make decisions and push product improvements throughout the full product life cycle to drive key metrics in the right direction.
- Innovation - Drive product innovation, including personalisation, automation, and use of alternative data.
- Breakdown features into tickets - Comfortable creating tickets with the tech team for implementation.
- Research - Analyse customer and market data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in financial services and lending products.
- Roadmap - Own, lead and manage the product roadmap for your Crew, ensuring stakeholder communication and updates.
- Collaboration - Work with other teams to ensure all product decisions align with regulatory and industry standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product leadership experience specifically within credit, lending, fintech, or digital banking.
- Proven experience managing product P&Ls, financial performance, and strategic commercial decision-making.
- Strong understanding of credit risk, pricing strategies, and regulatory compliance.
- Passion for fairness, financial inclusion, and responsible lending.
- Experience from a credit institute or niche bank is a plus.
- Worked with Open Banking/PSD2 data is a plus.
- Experience in exploring and developing AI/ML solutions is a plus.
- Have a deep understanding of payment solutions is a plus.
