About the role
- Senior Military Advisor liaising with military entities for aviation safety and airworthiness. Developing relationships, advising management, and coordinating with military stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Act as the liaison between the Agency and military entities
- Develop and maintain relationship and partnership strategy with military stakeholders
- Advise the EASA Executive Director on state and military aviation landscape
- Represent the Agency in military and state aviation related forums
- Support and coordinate various Agency departments related to state and military aviation
Requirements
- A thorough knowledge of one of the languages of the European Union (at least level C1)
- A satisfactory knowledge of another language of the EU (at least level B2)
- Be a national of a Member State of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland
- Completed university studies of at least 4 years
- At least 12 years of relevant professional experience
- Rank NATO equivalent of OF-6 or above
- At least 5 years of military career in multinational entities or in cooperation with them.
- English oral and written skills will be assessed
