Responsibilities
Develop, coordinate, and align volume & revenue forecasts for assigned businesses and/or channels.
Ensure that regional sales forecasts are visible, planned, and supported through the supply chain while delivering customer satisfaction and improving inventory and working capital.
Supervise a team of demand planners located in multiple geographies.
Coach and develop your team to continuously improve their skill set.
Interface with sales, marketing, and finance organizations, utilizing statistics, sales projects, and market intelligence to develop a rolling 18-month SKU level demand plan.
Work with finance to enable comparison and gap analyses between the demand forecasts and business financial goals.
Apply lean six sigma techniques to continuously improve processes and metrics.
Requirements
5-10 years of experience in Demand Planning, operations planning/scheduling, materials management or other Sales Inventory & Operations Planning related functional area.
Experience with a Demand Planning tool (e.g. RapidResponse, SAP APO module).
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, operations management, marketing or supply chain management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
Ability to work with large amount of data and knowledge of advanced analytics tools- Tableau/Power BI (Reports development)
APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or CPF certification preferred
