About the role
- Senior Information Security Specialist responsible for IoT security and compliance at Daikin's EMEA Development Center. Implementing security programs and guiding development teams on applicable legislation and internal policies.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of the Information Security Program within the EDC.
- Guide & assist development teams in aligning IoT product development and processes with NIS2, CRA, RED DA, and internal security policies.
- Setup, adapt and apply information security policies and development guidelines to the EMEA Development Center, in cooperation with the central Information Security Team.
- Contribute to the creation and management of targeted information security awareness and training programs for employees, contractors, and development partners.
- Define processes and controls to verify compliance with policies and ensure that gaps and deviations are documented and remediated.
- Serve as prime contact for internal and external audits, and contribute to certification readiness.
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree (Informatics, Economist, Engineer, Law or equal).
- Proven relevant experience in information security, ideally within companies developing IoT technologies.
- Familiarity with RED DA compliance and ISO27001 is a strong asset.
- Skill to balance data protection and business objectives.
- Ability to reach consensus about the correct IT security level with acceptable risk.
- Accurate work with an eye for details.
- Clear communication on high level with the management.
- Necessary self-discipline to plan and work independently across departments.
- Excellent communicative skills in English.
