About the role

• Senior Counsel on the Litigation group’s Discovery Tech team supporting e-discovery program. Collaborating with in-house teams and providing legal guidance on eDiscovery matters in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation eDiscovery matters and pre-litigation demands, provide legal advice, and support internal investigations
• Oversee eDiscovery operations including legal hold and data preservation, data collection and processing, and document review and production
• Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders re: information retention, data preservation, and data migration from a litigation perspective
• Educate in-house colleagues and outside counsel on discovery-related issues

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Active member in good standing of at least one state bar
• At least 4 years of experience as an attorney in a law firm, at a government agency, as a military judge advocate or as in-house counsel
• At least 4 years of experience with eDiscovery software
• 4+ years of people management experience (preferred)
• 5+ years of leadership experience in eDiscovery (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience with Relativity eDiscovery software (preferred)
• Experience with Technology Assisted Review workflows (preferred)
• Experience with Generative AI workflows, including Relativity Active Learning and Relativity aiR (preferred)
• Knowledge of current trends in discovery law and technology
• Effective oral and written communication skills with communicating status, timelines, risks, and potential impacts to stakeholders
• Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment to meet deadlines
• Detail oriented and organized with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
