Field Service Engineer conducting inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting on water treatment systems in the Life Science sector. Role includes domestic and regional duties as well as documentation and reporting responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Perform inspections, maintenance, qualification and calibration of water treatment systems at our customers in the Life Science sector
Support maintenance work across Germany and, on occasion, abroad
Assist with commissioning activities
Troubleshoot and analyze electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems in a pharmaceutical environment
Prepare test protocols as part of on-site assignments
Fully document activities, including service reports and checklists
Requirements
Technical training (electrician/mechatronics technician) or technician-level qualification; comparable qualifications are welcome — career changers are encouraged to apply
Ideally, experience servicing water treatment systems
Knowledge of automation advantageous (S7, TIA Portal)
Experience with cGMP and GAMP desirable
High flexibility and willingness to travel and stay overnight during the week: assignments can be nationwide; where possible, assignments will be scheduled within the employee’s regional area
Optional: willingness to travel internationally
Good written and spoken English
