- Senior Communication Manager / Data Analyst responsible for data management and communication strategies at Bundesdruckerei. Analyzing communication data and supporting organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Build comprehensive data management for the newsroom (topic-focused work), including support for strategic topic planning
- Analyze and evaluate communications data and develop benchmarks and actionable recommendations
- Establish a common terminology and define metrics to enable comparisons across campaigns, initiatives and topics
- Apply analytical tools for key communication channels and build and maintain a central data dashboard
- Use social listening tools to anticipate emerging trends and topics (agenda listening) and integrate them into the newsroom’s work
- Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders
- Advise on measures and the orientation of future activities, thereby influencing the communications strategy
- Manage external agencies and service providers in the field of communications controlling
Requirements
- Degree in Business Informatics, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications/Media Studies, Media Studies/Journalism, Business Administration, Political Science or a comparable field
- Relevant professional experience in agencies or companies with experience in building data-driven communications controlling as well as in data analysis and data management
- Proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Google Analytics, eTracker, YouScan, etc.) and with data evaluation methods, as well as knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and the OKR framework
- Ability to extract complex relationships from datasets and present them succinctly through visualization
- Independent, self-organized and reliable working style, with a systematic-methodical approach and a results- and goal-oriented mindset
- Operational decision-making, assertiveness and implementation skills in change processes, as well as a confident demeanor and experience collaborating across different hierarchical levels
- Initiative, motivation, customer- and service-orientation, strong communication and interpersonal skills (German language skills at least C1 level), and the ability to cooperate and work as part of a team
