Responsibilities
- Gathers, analyzes, and interprets data to draw conclusions and/or make recommendations that support business objectives and optimize operations.
- Summarizes information in a logical format and develops communication channels that summarize findings in a clear and concise manner to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Utilizes and analyzes data in various approaches for projects including but not limited to; workflow assessments, best practice evaluations and implementation, operational efficiency evaluations, and performance reporting and action plan development.
- Ability to work as team leader on projects, responsible for planning, implementation, and integration of assigned tasks and directives.
- Identifies potential process improvements, economies of scale and productivity enhancements.
- Participates in working sessions with stakeholders to obtain necessary project information or assist in project execution.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field
- A Master's Degree may be substituted for one of the following combinations: A Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field with 2 years of related experience working in database management and analysis; An Associate's Degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field with 5 years of related experience working in database management and analysis.
- Experience with database querying languages such as SQL
- Able to understand various data structures and common methods in data transformation
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint.
