About the role
- Director leading Master Data Operations for Breakthru Beverage Group. Overseeing SAP MDM function for accurate, governed customer, vendor, and material data.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily SAP master data operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant creation, maintenance, and updates.
- Define, document, and continuously improve standardized master data processes focused on efficiency, quality, accuracy, and service.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex master data issues involving SAP data elements, hierarchies, workflows, and cross-functional dependencies.
- Establish and monitor operational metrics, service levels, and performance targets; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with IT to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data flows, integrations, and system performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of Master Data Management experience, with deep SAP Master Data expertise in large, complex environments.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience, managing internal teams and/or external service providers.
- Experience leading large SAP MDG implementations
- Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems and product data workflows.
- Proven ability to define standardized data processes, governance frameworks, metrics, and SLAs.
- Strong understanding of ERP, PIM, and downstream integrations (APIs, middleware, batch processing).
