About the role
- Field Application Engineer focusing on LiDAR technology applications and customer projects at Blickfeld in Munich. Engaging in project delivery, customer support, and solution development in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Involved in winning, planning and realizing projects on-site and remotely
- Take full responsibility for working with customers and understanding their needs
- Provide installation assistance, troubleshooting, and hands-on technical support on-site
- Contribute ideas by writing code to improve and extend LiDAR solutions
- Provide 1st and 2nd level support, resolving issues and complaints proactively
- Align with sales and development teams on customer projects and new product features
- Represent Blickfeld at international trade fairs, events and training
Requirements
- Previous professional experience is not mandatory
- Master’s degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Good knowledge in at least one programming language
- Knowledge and experience with Python, NODE-RED or C++ are a big plus
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Linux / Windows) and network technologies
- Knowledge of Git and continuous integration toolchains is an advantage
- Experience and interest in Data analysis is helpful
- Very good written and spoken English and German, at least C1 level in both languages
