About the role
- Field Application Engineer handling customer projects in real-world LiDAR applications. Involved in project delivery, customer ownership, and solution development in a high-tech environment.
Responsibilities
- Involved in winning, planning and realizing projects on-site and remotely
- Take full responsibility of working with customers and understand how our solutions can solve their problems
- Visit customers on-site to provide installation assistance, troubleshooting, and hands-on technical support
- Contribute own ideas by writing code to continuously improve and extend LiDAR solutions
- Provide 1st and 2nd level support, proactively resolving issues and handling complaints
- Align with sales and development teams on customer projects and new product features
- Represent Blickfeld at international trade fairs, events, and trainings
Requirements
- Previous professional experience is not mandatory
- Master’s degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Good knowledge in at least one programming language
- Knowledge and experience with Python, NODE-RED or C++ are a big plus
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Linux / Windows) and network technologies
- Very good communication skills in English and German, at least C1 level in both languages
