About the role
- Implementation Consultant ensuring delivery of Aladdin Accounting solutions while collaborating with clients and managing implementations. Requires 3-7 years in consulting or investment accounting.
Responsibilities
- Understand client objectives and own the delivery of Aladdin Accounting implementations
- Collaborate with the Client's senior management to provide strong leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle
- Coordinate and implement client specific investment accounting configuration, portfolio initialization, downstream general ledger/ sub ledger integration, and monthly accounting workflows
- Develop project plans with measurable goals, driving consensus with internal and client stakeholders to work towards common objectives for implementing Aladdin’s investment accounting and official performance
- Craft the evolution of our implementation methodology by partnering with development teams to improve the platform
- Occasional travel may be required, including international opportunities
Requirements
- 3-7 years of work experience in consulting, software implementation or investment/performance accounting implementations
- Strong knowledge of investment accounting principles and practices
- Well-organized with the ability to manage priorities effectively
- Client-focused with a passion for providing high-quality service
- Experience with investment accounting standards (e.g., US GAAP, IFRS) as they pertain to investment accounting
- Experience with fund performance and Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS)
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex concepts clearly to clients, fostering commitment, team motivation, and acceptance of new ideas or actions
- Enjoys a fast paced, high-intensity and complex environment, troubleshooting time critical issues and working with people
- Project management experience (e.g., PMP) a plus
- CPA or CFA certification a plus
- SQL, Python and command-line programming experience a plus
- Big 4 consulting firm experience a plus
- Fluency in both Japanese and Korean is desirable, and business proficiency in English.
