About the role

  • Join a friendly 150-person audit team as an Audit Assistant (m/f/d). Support audits of annual and consolidated financial statements, due diligence, valuations and digitalization of audit processes.

Responsibilities

  • As an Audit Assistant (m/f/d), you will work on a variety of engagements in the field of financial auditing and interact directly with clients from different industries and company sizes.
  • You will join a team of around 150 colleagues that has grown over many years while retaining a close-knit, family-like atmosphere.
  • You will be given early responsibility, develop professionally, and work closely with experienced colleagues in tax advisory and auditing.
  • Assist in auditing annual and consolidated financial statements.
  • Support due diligence reviews and company valuations.
  • Prepare audit reports and documentation.
  • Handle special business administration topics and tax-related issues.
  • Contribute to the improvement of audit processes and digital solutions.
  • Other tasks that you enjoy.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in economics or business administration (Bachelor or Master), ideally with a focus on auditing, accounting or taxation
  • Initial practical experience in the field of tax (e.g., through internships or working-student positions) is desirable but not mandatory
  • Structured, independent working style and willingness to familiarize yourself with new topics
  • Strong communication skills, reliability and good interpersonal sensitivity—whether within the team or in client contact
  • DATEV knowledge is desirable but not a mandatory requirement
