About the role

Responsibilities
- Verifying delivered software, features, and functionality
- Working within a Scrum team across both automated and manual testing
- Collaborating closely with Engineers, BAs, and stakeholders
- Assisting and coaching other teams on ad-hoc testing requests
- Performing SIT, functional, end-to-end, and regression testing
- Detecting, logging, and owning issues and defects through to resolution
- Writing manual test cases and contributing automated tests to existing frameworks (Selenium / Playwright with C#)
- Executing tests across frontend and backend layers
- Testing web applications across multiple browsers and platforms
- Creating and maintaining test data for automation
- Technical scripting for data validation, log checking, and test automation development
- Documenting test artefacts, plans, and outcomes
Requirements
- 4–6 years’ experience in automated testing, with a strong focus on browser automation (Playwright)
- Exposure to C# or Java
- API testing experience, both manual and automated
- Strong manual testing experience including regression, functional, and exploratory testing
- Experience writing test cases from user stories
- SQL querying experience
- Experience preparing test plans
- Strong analytical skills and an inquisitive mindset
- **Nice to have: **
- Performance testing experience using k6
- Cross-browser testing tools such as LambdaTest or Perfecto
- PDF testing tools such as Applitools
- GitHub experience
