Responsibilities
- Apply your technical expertise to resolve complex issues
- Optimize the performance of our platforms and support teams and projects in achieving their objectives
- Collaborate on operations and architecture
- Deploy, configure, and maintain the Splunk infrastructure
- Ensure platform availability, performance, and capacity
- Support upgrades and evolution of the environment
- Monitor SPL queries to ensure performance and, when necessary, provide optimization recommendations to clients
- Integrate Splunk with cloud, containers, and DevOps tools
- Automate tasks using scripts, APIs, and orchestration tools
- Document and share technical standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant IT experience in a complex, large-enterprise environment
- Hands-on experience supporting the Splunk platform
- Experience in monitoring, observability, or IT operations
- Good knowledge of IT infrastructure components, both on-premises and cloud environments
- Strong knowledge of advanced SPL and search optimization
- Good understanding of Splunk distributed architecture and index management
- Strong knowledge of data ingestion, parsing, and normalization
- Any Splunk-related certifications, notably Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin and others, are an asset
