About the role
- Product Owner managing project deliverables and collaborating with teams at Beast Code. Defining features and engaging with stakeholders to prioritize product needs effectively.
Responsibilities
- Define and prioritize product features and requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Enjoy pouring over analytics and feedback to improve products and increase business value
- Have experience managing multiple teams collaborating on multiple projects
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA, to deliver product enhancements and new functionalities.
- Act as a liaison between the technical team and stakeholders, translating technical details into business language and vice versa.
- Manage the product backlog, ensuring that all items are clearly described, prioritized, and understood by the development team.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying risks early and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Foster a positive, collaborative working environment, especially when dealing with difficult or challenging team.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, or similar role in a technical environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong technical background, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to not only make data-informed decisions but also intuitively balance customer benefit and engineering complexity
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with challenging personalities and to manage conflicts constructively.
- Agile/Scrum certification or experience is highly desirable.
