About the role
- Senior Producer leading P&C sales team in Irvine, CA, driving revenue growth and mentoring team members while collaborating with leadership.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by increasing new business sales
- Improve renewal retention rates
- Empower and inspire the Production Team to drive growth and profitability
- Advise and serve as a member of the leadership team in the development and execution of short-term and long-term plans and budgets based on agency goals
- Oversee the Production team to ensure that customers' business plan objectives are supported by their insurance programs and services
- Implement consistent policies, workflows and processes
- Mentor “high potential” team members in the office
- Lead the development and implementation of business strategies in collaboration with Office Leaders
- Manage strategic relationships with third parties
- Pursue cross-selling opportunities
- Champion, plan and lead the Producer-in-Training (PIT), Intern, onboarding and team member development programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- 5+ years of P&C insurance experience with a track record of helping support and build effective sales teams/operations
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of P&C products and services, administration, financials, current legislation, rules, laws and other regulations
- Proven track record of growing and maintaining a customer book of business
- Must have detailed knowledge of a CRM system
- Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are a requirement of this position.
