About the role

  • BSS Provider Experience Representative answering provider inquiries at Banner Health. Delivering customer service in a fast-paced hybrid environment in Arizona.

Responsibilities

  • Take inbound calls answering questions from providers and their staff members
  • Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction with a goal of first call resolution
  • Receive, document, research and respond to provider inquiries and escalated calls
  • Work cohesively with appropriate parties to ensure delivery of outstanding customer service
  • Identify and resolve managed care issues concerning claims, contract interpretation, utilization management
  • Assist internal departments in resolving provider appeals

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of high-volume call center experience
  • At least 3+ years of healthcare experience, including knowledge of billing, coding, medical claims
  • Must live in Tucson or Phoenix area
