About the role

Responsibilities
- Advise a business unit of over 300 people on cloud-based capabilities.
- Help customers understand and adopt FinOps practices.
- Collaborate with product architects and engineering teams to architect solutions with cost considered from the outset.
- Develop FinOps strategies and approaches to optimise cloud investments.
- Influence architectural decisions and champion FinOps principles.
Requirements
- Applying FinOps principles to drive cloud efficiency and cost optimisation in large-scale environments.
- Deep understanding of AWS technologies, pricing models, and cost management tools.
- Advising on cloud architecture to embed cost efficiency and scalability.
- Developing and marketing FinOps offerings to customers, including creating compelling value propositions.
- Engaging with senior stakeholders to align cloud efficiency strategies with business objectives.
- Building business cases for cloud optimisation initiatives supported by robust data and analysis.
- Familiarity with government or regulated environments (desirable but not essential).
- Strong communication skills to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
- Security Clearance is required for this role. If you are not currently Security Cleared, you will need to be eligible and willing to go through the process.
