About the role
- Senior Cybersecurity Consultant leading IT-Security projects for SMBs and key accounts in Germany. Responsibilities include project planning, client advisory, and technical implementation.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end security projects: You are responsible for the design, consulting (pre- and post-sales), and technical delivery of IT security projects for large mid-market companies and our key accounts.
- The perfect blend of technology and consulting: You take the lead—given the freedom to develop tailored solutions, you design and implement diverse projects at the client site and assume cross-team and cross-departmental technical project leadership.
- Trusted advisor: In this central role, you act across all project phases and beyond as the customer’s trusted advisor, using your expertise to help them make the right decisions.
- Share your knowledge: If you wish, you can contribute to technical presentations, marketing events, and social media content.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in IT security or information security
- Solid knowledge of common security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, BSI)
- Experience with security technologies, cloud security, network security, or application security
- Strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, and consulting competence
- Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor are an advantage
