About the role
- Consultant for digitalization of accounting in municipal administrations, providing training and process optimization. Collaborating with teams and clients to enhance public sector financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Digitalization of accounting for district, city and municipal administrations as well as churches, working together with your project team
- Advising and supporting our clients in the areas of financial accounting, fixed-asset accounting and budget planning
- Training and onboarding of users in new projects and for existing clients
- Analyzing and optimizing processes related to our financial software and adjacent specialist departments
- Process and organizational consulting in close collaboration with our clients and partners
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in business informatics, public administration, economics, vocational training as an administrative specialist, or further training as an IHK-certified financial accountant
- Desirable: knowledge of financial accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable), fixed-asset accounting, and budget planning
- Initial experience in the municipal/public sector is an advantage
- Passion for IT and enthusiasm for consulting
- Flexibility and willingness to travel regionally (Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, North Rhine-Westphalia)
