About the role
- Microsoft SharePoint Consultant managing SharePoint Online and on-premises environments. Supporting digital collaboration and improving client experiences through Microsoft solutions.
Responsibilities
- Administer and manage SharePoint Online environments using the SharePoint Online Admin Center
- Perform SharePoint-related administrative tasks using the Microsoft 365 Admin Center
- Support and maintain SharePoint Server on-premises environments, including design and build activities
- Perform end-to-end administration of SharePoint environments to ensure stability, security, and performance
- Carry out site administration tasks, including creation, configuration, and management of SharePoint sites
- Support the development, maintenance, and organization of sites and collaborative workspaces
- Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues, including connectivity, configuration, and user access
- Work alongside network and web infrastructure components, including HTTP, TLS, TCP/IP, and DNS, to support SharePoint services
- Support integrations between SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 services, where applicable
- Contribute to technical documentation, operational support, and ongoing maintenance of SharePoint environments
Requirements
- Fluent or advanced English (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension)
- Basic knowledge of the Microsoft 365 Admin Center
- Experience administering environments using the SharePoint Online Admin Center
- Experience with SharePoint Server, including design and build activities
- Proven experience in SharePoint environment administration and site management
- Experience administering and building SharePoint sites
- Basic networking knowledge, including HTTP, TLS, TCP/IP, and DNS
- Understanding of web technologies and the interactions between browsers, web servers, and enterprise applications
- Knowledge of OneDrive for Business (nice to have)
- Experience managing SharePoint via PowerShell scripting (nice to have)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 products and services such as Viva Connections, Viva Engage, Microsoft Stream, and Microsoft Loop (nice to have)
- Knowledge of identity and authentication technologies such as Active Directory, Entra ID, Entra ID Connect, ADFS, and WAP (nice to have)
- Familiarity with Windows Server environments (nice to have)
- Knowledge of Internet Information Services (IIS) (nice to have)
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (nice to have)
