Responsibilities
Prepare and teach courses in the field of Cybersecurity to a multicultural student population based on the department's approved course learning outcomes
Participate actively in departmental responsibilities and departmental governance, including curriculum review and revision, program review, assessment of student learning outcomes at the course and program level
Evaluate student progress and provide clear, timely feedback reflecting program learning outcomes
Serve as a mentor to students in the Cybersecurity program
Provide teaching and mentoring services to students in a manner which does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, protected veteran status, political affiliation, or other protected categories.
Requirements
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Information Technology, Computer or Software Engineering; or Computer-based Information Systems (e.g., management, decision, data-processing) or Network Security; or Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in these disciplines or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Information Technology, Computer or Software Engineering, Network Security or Computer-Based Information
Three years of non-teaching, industry-related work experience specifically related to cybersecurity, networking, or cloud computing.
Demonstrated proficiency using computer applications, online resources, and other technologies for the classroom.
Remaining current in the field through professional development activities.
