About the role

Responsibilities
- Support the Tax Planning team in designing strategies to capture tax synergies;
- Assess tax impacts of new transactions, projects, and restructurings, proposing consultative and structured solutions from a legal‑tax perspective;
- Actively participate in the implementation of the Tax Reform by monitoring regulations, analyzing impacts, and supporting business units in adapting to new legal frameworks;
- Manage and conduct tax litigation, both judicial and administrative, related to direct and indirect taxes, ensuring technical defense, deadline compliance, and strategic alignment with the Company's tax planning;
- Support and monitor tax audits, notices of assessment, and collection proceedings, ensuring proper treatment of contingencies and consistency of the legal arguments adopted;
- Liaise with law firms and external advisors, ensuring technical adherence, consistency of arguments, and institutional alignment;
- Prepare legal opinions, technical analyses, and executive reports to support leadership decision‑making;
- Contribute to the identification and management of tax risks, enhancing internal controls and strengthening the Company's fiscal and legal governance.
Requirements
- Law degree with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB);
- Postgraduate degree in Tax Law;
- Prior experience in corporate transactions and business reorganizations;
- Solid experience in tax planning and tax litigation;
- English proficiency.
