Responsibilities
- Design security features and capabilities for the AT&T Chief Security Office leveraging modern cloud technologies
- Work activities will include new and enhancing feature design through implementation of cloud-based security orchestration and automation functions following Agile methodologies
- Scope of work will include solution discovery, security technology evaluations, product engineering, configuration and development designs
- Some of the cloud security feature categories in scope include Continuous Compliance Inspection, Automated Remediation, AI Security, Security Analytics, and Policy Orchestration
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science or Cybersecurity
- 7+ years of related experience
- Self-starter, able to work autonomously, natural problem solver, collaborative, creative, and not fazed by adversity or ambiguity
- Strong hands-on problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Deep technical understanding of modern cloud services such as AWS, Azure and GCP
- Development experience working in AWS, Azure or GCP clouds (API’s, SDK’s, PowerShell, CLI, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with one or more public clouds: AWS, Azure or GCP cloud services (Serverless, Container, Compute, Messaging, Queueing, Database, Storage, Logging, etc.)
- Experience in Agile/SCRUM enterprise-scale software development
- Understanding of scalable computing systems, software architecture, data structures, and algorithms
- Familiarity with applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML) techniques in cybersecurity contexts (e.g., anomaly detection, threat hunting, behavioral analytics, or risk scoring)
