About the role
- Engineer or technician in building automation managing projects in measurement, control, and regulation technology in Dortmund. Planning and consulting for complex technical systems.
Responsibilities
- Independent planning and consulting in the field of measurement, control and regulation technology (MCR) and building automation
- Integration of specialist plans for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and sanitary systems (HVAC & sanitary) to develop control strategies and control schematics
- Execution of all service phases according to HOAI for demanding projects
- Independent and supporting specialist site management (technical construction supervision) including all organizational tasks — from reviewing shop and installation drawings to final commissioning
- Conducting condition surveys and evaluating existing system technology
- Supporting our internal facility management (FM) consulting in commissioning management
Requirements
- Completed engineering degree (Diplom, Bachelor, Master) or equivalent technical qualification; career changers (technicians, master craftsmen) with solid knowledge in the areas mentioned above are welcome
- Several years of professional experience in the field
- Holistic understanding of technically complex interrelationships and knowledge of the planning process for sanitary, heating, ventilation, cooling (refrigeration) and electrical engineering
- Good communication skills and willingness to cooperate in a team with specialist colleagues and architects
- Reliability and a high degree of personal responsibility
