About the role

• Product Owner responsible for product evolution within acquiring ecosystem at tech company. Managing financial product lifecycle from discovery to continuous delivery and evolution.

Responsibilities

• Manage the product lifecycle (discovery, definition, delivery, and evolution);
• Manage and prioritize the backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives;
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and promote alignment between technology, operations, and partners;
• Work with internal areas to understand business rules and financial impacts;
• Ensure processes are auditable, traceable, and documented;
• Identify and lead continuous improvements (automations, routing, fallback, operational efficiency);
• Ensure compliance with BACEN (Brazilian Central Bank) regulations and card scheme rules (Visa, Mastercard, Elo, and Amex);
• Collaborate with engineering and architecture on the evolution of technical standards (communication, security, encryption);
• Evolve capture flows (POS, TEF, gateways, and SDKs);
• Coordinate internal integrations (reconciliation, receivables anticipation, settlement) and external integrations (acquirers, card schemes, issuers);
• Monitor indicators for consistency, discrepancies, and financial reconciliation;
• Track and improve critical metrics such as approval rate, availability, and authorization error rates;

Requirements

• Experience with ticketing and issue management tools (e.g., Jira, Freshdesk, Zendesk)
• Merchant acquiring experience
• Backlog management and discovery techniques
• Clearing
• Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
