About the role
- Health and Safety Business Partner developing and maintaining health and safety management systems at Arc'teryx. Collaborating with leadership to enhance workplace safety across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain the health and safety management system
- Manage health and safety initiatives including training and the injury reporting process
- Support leaders and employees with health and safety concerns
- Consult with and educate the Joint Health and Safety Committee
- Perform ergonomic and job hazard assessments
- Assist with incident investigations and reporting
Requirements
- 5 years of Health and Safety field experience, preferably in retail or distribution
- Well-versed in local, provincial, national and international Health and Safety regulations including Work Safe BC, OSHA, ASHARE, ISO and WELL building standard
- Experience liaising with applicable Health and Safety and Environmental regulatory authorities
- Strong relationship management skills
- Experience in supporting and executing health and safety strategies
- Excellent influencing and communication skills
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Hands-on collaborator with a can-do attitude
