- Support federal, defense, and civilian agency missions
- Handle daily HR functions—including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration
- Ensure strict compliance with federal contractor regulations, including OFCCP, EEO, and SCA requirements
- Monitor and ensure company policies align with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Maintain audit-ready personnel files and documentation to support DCAA, DOL, and OFCCP audits
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting positions on relevant job boards and screening candidates
- Facilitate new hire orientation, benefits enrollment, and employee offboarding
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and conduct investigations into workplace concerns
- Provide guidance to management on performance management, corrective actions, and conflict resolution
- Administer company benefits programs (medical, dental, 401k) and assist with payroll data accuracy
Requirements
- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience
- At least 1–2 years in a government contracting (GovCon) environment
- Thorough knowledge of EEO, Affirmative Action (AAP), FMLA, ADA, and FLSA
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, BambooHR) and Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel skills preferred)
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
- Experience with Service Contract Act (SCA) or Davis-Bacon Act (DBA)
- Experience with security clearance processing/suitability vetting
- U.S Citizenship required
