About the role
- Project Engineer supporting civil design and environmental permitting projects with scientists and engineers. Involves project management and design development for varied complexity across multiple sectors.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers, project managers, and technical experts on civil design and environmental permitting projects
- Analyze documentation including technical reports, construction submittals, maps, and drawings to understand site characteristics
- Develop civil engineering designs on projects of varying complexity
- Conduct field assignments, including client and stakeholder meetings
- Delegate work and mentor junior engineers
- Participate in and facilitate group meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering or closely related field
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience
- Fluent with AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, or other terrain modeling design software
- Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling (e.g., HydroCAD, WinTR-55, PondPack, HEC-RAS)
