Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of net zero and decarbonization projects across multiple sectors such as real estate, retail, manufacturing, infrastructure, technology, and transportation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring that all deliverables are accurate, timely, and client-ready.
- Develop and implement decarbonization strategies, managing project teams and providing quality assurance for technical analyses.
- Mentor junior staff, identify opportunities to expand client relationships, and support the development of Arcadis’s broader sustainability offering.
- Deliver projects on broader sustainability topics including GHG accounting, ESG strategy, sustainability reporting, biodiversity, and others to meet diverse client needs.
- Champion innovation to create new value for clients and help build out the decarbonization service offering.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of study
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in sustainability consulting with a focus on decarbonization
- Proven experience leading decarbonization projects and teams
- Mastery of sector-specific decarbonization levers and relevant protocols (GHG Protocol, SBTi, ISO Net Zero, CSRD, SFDR, etc.)
- Track record of reliable, on-time delivery and transparent communication
- Strong analytical and communication skills, including executive-level presentations
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and juggle multiple projects
