About the role
- Architect I responsible for managing technical tasks and delivering elements of larger projects at Arcadis. Ensuring quality, budgetary, and health and safety targets while collaborating with teams on design integrity.
Responsibilities
- Responsible in managing technical aspects of smaller and/or less complex tasks or components of larger tasks
- Managing the delivery of elements of larger projects in accordance with Arcadis management systems
- Meeting financial, quality, time frame and health and safety objectives
- Assigned to provide a controlling technical role on medium size and/or moderately complex tasks in single discipline
- Coordinates and manages teams of single (own) discipline designers and technicians
- Ensure maximum internal stakeholder satisfaction
- Champion and proactively work with internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure the integrity of project interfaces
- Prepare documentation and reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with Arcadis requirements and relevant national standards and codes of practice
- Develop and maintain technical knowledge
- Plan assigned project work and allocate work to ensure timely delivery
- Monitor the performance of project team members and resolve any issues in coordination with Team Leads, Task Managers and Line Managers
- Full understanding of design deliverables, project scope and budget
Requirements
- Registered Architect with demonstrable experience on wide range of complex projects at different stages
- Experience with retail projects is a plus
- Proficiency in Revit, Enscape and InDesign
- Minimum 7 years experience architecture design works
- Preferably good in manual design sketches
- At least 6 years of overall Retail Design working experience, including at least 3 years of BIM tasks, 1 year of site experience and 1 year of minor leadership role (technical/supervisor)
- Competent in design and planning skills relevant to the area of work and awareness of related disciplines
