About the role

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, evaluation, and construction of transportation and transit structures.
- Assist with technical documentation, design calculations, construction administration, and site inspections.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers on project coordination, contract documentation, proposals, and client meetings.
- Ensure quality and safety standards are met while developing professional skills through mentorship.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering (Master’s degree is an asset).
- Working towards a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license with the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO).
- 1-2 years of experience in the design, evaluation, and rehabilitation of bridge, transportation, or transit-related structures.
- Good knowledge of CSA S6 (CHBDC), CSA A23, CSA S16, OBC, OPSS, and MTO Structural and Rehabilitation Manuals.
- Proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as SAP2000, MIDAS Civil, CSiBridge, MathCAD, AutoCAD, or MicroStation.
- Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license and willingness to conduct site inspections as required.
