Responsibilities
Rapid Prototyping: Bringing mechanics to life using UE5 Blueprints to test feel, pacing, and flow.
System Implementation: Translating design docs into functional game systems, ensuring a smooth hand-off to the programming team.
UI/UX: Designing and scripting the technical backend of menus and HUDs to ensure a frictionless player experience.
Input & Feel: Refining character control, camera behaviours, and input schemes for PC and Console.
Validated Documentation: Creating and maintaining design documents informed and supported by prototypes created using Figma, UE5 or any other necessary tools.
Cross-Discipline Collaboration: Working with programmers and artists to see through final implementation while maintaining the creative direction.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in Game Design with a focus on technical implementation or rapid prototyping.
A strong portfolio showcasing your design work, for PC/console titles.
Experience shipping at least one commercial game title PC/Console.
Proficiency with design and rapid prototyping tools like Figma.
Advanced proficiency in UE5 and a deep understanding of the Blueprint visual scripting system.
Solid understanding of UX principles, interface design, and user-centred design practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.
