Responsibilities
Create motion work that sets the quality bar and inspires others, including but not limited to product launches, marketing campaigns, and research releases
Help shape and evolve our motion design strategy, developing foundational patterns that make our brand recognizable through animation
Build and document frameworks and standards that help teams implement motion across the organization
Guide and mentor others in motion design principles and practices, helping them develop brand expertise
Partner with teams across the company to elevate motion design in their projects while maintaining quality
Take ownership of emerging motion needs across product, events, and campaigns as the practice grows
Requirements
6+ years of motion design experience with an outstanding portfolio showing both craft and systematic thinking
Create high-quality motion work while building repeatable patterns that others can learn from
Can develop motion design systems and teach others to help scale our brand expression
Bridge individual execution with strategic thinking about how motion supports our brand
Thrive in collaboration with teams across the company, including product, engineering, research, and marketing
Stay current with motion design tools and can recommend the right ones for different needs
Balance creative exploration with practical constraints in a fast-paced environment
Are energized by the prospect of helping build a motion practice and growing your scope of ownership over time
