Responsibilities
Reporting to the Île-de-France Centre Normandy Infrastructure division of the Infrastructure Directorate France, you will work on study and design/project management assignments related to the construction or rehabilitation of infrastructures and hydraulic structures (river or coastal dikes, dams, hydraulic works, etc.).
Technical execution of assignments during the diagnostic phase (inspections, in-depth diagnostics), the design phase (AVP — preliminary design, PRO — detailed design, preparation of works contracts/tenders) and the construction phase (construction supervision, handover).
Lead and supervise assigned project teams (engineers, technicians and subcontractors).
Liaise with contractors based on your site supervision experience, coordinate external inspections and manage any claims.
Manage commercial relations with our clients, from preparing commercial proposals to contract follow-up and project management.
Requirements
Degree in geotechnical engineering or civil engineering, complemented by experience in site supervision of infrastructure works (groundworks, stabilization, grouting/injections, etc.).
Knowledge of dikes and dams reference frameworks (ILH, CFBR recommendations, technical dike reference, etc.).
Proficiency in the Public Procurement Code and the various CCAG (e.g. Works, Project Management Assistance / MOE, etc.).
Autonomous with strong organizational and planning skills; good interpersonal skills, ability to persuade and defend your point of view, and a strong interest in teamwork.
Engineering degree or equivalent (Master’s level, Bac+5) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a design office in project management within the above-mentioned fields, with a foundational background in geotechnics.
