About the role

Responsibilities
- Learn new technologies using various software tools to create accurate and comprehensive documents.
- Determine the requirements for technical documentation.
- Collect data from technical staff.
- Read and analyze schematics and technical drawings.
- Collaborate with product specialists and technical instructors to verify content.
- Plan and conduct research on hardware and software.
- Write and edit documents, customizing data according to specifications.
- Perform computer-based validations.
- Participate in internal peer reviews and coordinate the review and approval processes.
- Bring innovative ideas to improve documentation and documentation processes.
Requirements
- University or college degree in related field, such as Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Three to five years of experience as a Technical Writer.
- Proficiency in XML S1000D authoring tools and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of HTML and DITA languages.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
