About the role
- Lead Business Systems Analyst managing travel servicing applications integration at Amex GBT. Responsible for testing, pilot activities, and coordinating user validations in travel technology.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive testing of travel servicing and desktop applications, including add-ons, patches, and installations
- Manage E2E pilot activities globally, preparing for production deployment
- Engage with Product and Development Teams and End User Computing
- Coordinate end-user testing and system validation after major network changes or software updates
- Investigate and address defects during pilots
- Participate in the IT Change Management Board for applications supporting travel customer services
- Build and distribute Service Advisory Communications for planned downtime and software updates
- Facilitate knowledge transfer with support teams and business units
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in science or engineering
- Minimum 6+ years of Travel technology experience
- Minimum 4+ years of software testing experience in the travel industry, TMC, travel technology, or large software enterprise
- Familiarity with Amex GBT travel servicing technology or the Travel Technology sector
- Strong knowledge of Amadeus and Sabre GDS systems
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to diverse audiences
- Strong problem-solving abilities, along with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
