Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Work with TPMs to understand business needs and background context.
- Convert business requirements into clear, detailed technical specifications and backlog items for the development team.
- Design and support integration solutions
- Design technical solution approaches, including conceptual, logical, and physical designs.
- Support API-based integrations with external vendors and resellers as well as internal platform services.
- Support our e‑commerce and ERP platforms
- Help maintain and support our e‑commerce platform and related systems as part of a global, homegrown ERP environment.
- Investigate and troubleshoot production issues, often using SQL to analyze data and understand root causes.
- Partner with our site operations team to resolve system issues raised by resellers and customers, and provide technical insight to the development team.
- Collaborate across business and technology teams
- Engage with business and IT partners to clarify requirements and ensure alignment between technical solutions and business goals.
- Work with developers to ensure they fully understand the technical specifications and desired outcomes.
- Leverage DevOps and monitoring tools
- Use monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and debugging tools to support stable and reliable production environments.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience in systems engineering, business systems analysis, software engineering, or a related technical role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience working with APIs (ideally RESTful) and integrating with third-party or internal services.
- Practical experience with at least one of: Java or Python, and strong skills in SQL and relational databases.
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical designs and documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to dive into data to understand issues.
- Clear, professional communication skills in English (written and verbal).
