About the role

Responsibilities
- Manage financial operations and ensure adherence to financial requirements for government contracts
- Track, analyze, and report financial information ensuring compliance with customer requirements and budgets
- Develop and maintain tracking of billings against Customer funding requirements by Contract Line-Item Number (CLIN)/SLIN/ACRN
- Prepare and maintain Estimate at Completion (EACs) in accordance with guidelines
- Reconcile and approve vendor invoices for payment
- Analyze financial information to forecast option year budgets
- Review cash requirements and prepare for future procurement
- Administer Firm-fixed price and cost-type contracts
- Utilize Excel proficiently to perform accounting procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience working with government contracts
- MBA preferred
- Proficiency in Excel
- Knowledge of other financial systems such as Deltek/Costpoint and Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System preferred
- Extensive knowledge of accounting procedures and government contract management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to prepare comprehensive financial reports and forecasts
- Experience in monitoring and maintaining compliance with financial regulations and budgets
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with all levels of the organization
- Possession of a TS security clearance preferred
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS security clearance
