Responsibilities
- The IT Business Analyst will play a key role in advancing Allucent’s Data and Development initiatives.
- Focus on gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications that support data integration.
- Collaborate with global business stakeholders, data engineers, developers, and AI specialists.
- Ensure solutions meet business objectives and regulatory expectations.
- Maintain clear and traceable documentation, including business process maps and data flow diagrams.
- Communicate effectively across teams, translating complex technical and AI concepts into business-friendly language.
- Support testing, validation, and user acceptance for system enhancements and new features.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and system demos to ensure clear communication between business and development teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a life sciences, CRO, or technology organization.
- Experience supporting data analytics or AI-related initiatives preferred (e.g., requirements for predictive models, natural language processing, or automation workflows).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (Agile and Waterfall).
- Exposure to APIs, data pipelines, and reporting/analytics tools is a plus.
- Business Analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to translate complex business needs into actionable technical requirements.
- Communicates effectively across technical and business teams, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout project lifecycles.
- Understands data and AI concepts, including automation, predictive analytics, and how these technologies can enhance business processes.
- Produces thorough and accurate documentation, including user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Adapts quickly to shifting priorities and works effectively in a fast-paced, global team environment.
- Maintains a strong commitment to data integrity, compliance, and delivering high-quality outcomes that support business objectives.
