Senior Sales Manager driving new business in consulting services within the DACH region. Focused on data and AI for industries like Pharma and Transportation.
Responsibilities
Proactive, cross-market development of new business (consulting services) across the DACH region with a clear hunter focus
Identification, qualification and acquisition of new clients in the Chemicals, Pharma & Healthcare or Transportation & Logistics industries
Establishment of new client relationships and development of new accounts, including responsibility for revenue, pipeline and sustainable growth
Planning and execution of structured lead generation and new-business activities
Deliver persuasive sales pitches and client presentations, and actively participate in trade shows and industry events
Independent management of tender processes, preparation of proposals and active contract negotiations through to closing
Close collaboration with internal delivery and subject-matter teams to ensure successful handover of won projects
Maintenance and structured documentation of all sales-related activities in the CRM system
Requirements
Degree in business administration (e.g., BWL), business informatics or a comparable qualified education
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in active B2B sales (hunter) of IT, technology or consulting services
Proven track record in new-business development within the consulting industry for clients in Pharma, Chemicals & Healthcare or Transportation & Logistics
Strong understanding of business models, decision-making processes and regulatory environments in the target industries
Highly capable of closing deals, with confident negotiation and presentation skills at management level
An existing network in the relevant target industries is desirable
Proficient with sales KPIs, CRM systems and MS Office
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
High self-motivation, deal-orientation and entrepreneurial mindset
Structured, independent working style and high willingness to travel
