About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead generation and acquisition of new clients in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries
- Participation in sales presentations, trade shows, conferences and sponsor meetings
- Advising our clients on the development of new projects
- Independently handling incoming requests for new proposals and contract extensions
- Coordination and ownership of the end-to-end proposal preparation process
- Coordination of the overall sales process and account planning, including budget responsibility, opportunity management, and accompanying internal planning reports and forecasts
- Management and development of existing key accounts and development of strategies to expand key accounts
Requirements
- University degree in a scientific discipline, business administration, or a comparable qualification, ideally with a medical focus
- Professional experience as a Project Manager or Business Development Manager in clinical research (CRO), medical devices, or the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage
- Experience in proposal preparation, pricing and contract negotiations, or strong motivation to develop in these areas
- Understanding of clinical development phases (I–IV) as well as basic study designs and operational processes
- Experience in or strong interest in consultative B2B sales, ideally involving complex and long-term sales cycles
- Fluent German and English language skills
- Confident user of Excel and other common MS Office tools
