About the role

• Lead complex IT implementation projects at aixigo in a hybrid model across multiple cities in Germany and Paris. Overseeing project deliverables, schedules and stakeholder communication with a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex implementation projects
• Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of large and/or complex projects
• Clarify scope and define objectives and milestones
• Prepare effort estimates, project schedules, and resource plans
• Project control and cost estimation; monitor budgets and risks
• Proactively manage dependencies and change requests
• Conduct project meetings and steering committees; prepare project documentation and reports
• Coordinate the project team, ensure adherence to delivery standards and methodologies, and take responsibility for conflict management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders and sponsors, both internally and on the client side
• Support the continuous improvement of aixigo's project management practices

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, a STEM discipline, or a related field
• 7+ years of professional experience in IT project management for complex projects, with a proven track record of delivering projects in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments
• Strong interest in or experience within the financial sector
• Strong risk management and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with experience collaborating with senior management and decision‑makers
• Solid knowledge of process design, documentation, and project management
• Fluent in German and English (French is a plus)
