About the role

Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility and technical leadership of projects for Airbus Defence and Space Cyber
- Independently create information security concepts based on the current BSI IT-Grundschutz (BSI IT Baseline Protection)
- Advise all relevant stakeholders on technical, procedural, and organizational information security matters
- Analyze and evaluate design decisions, technologies, and trends
- Provide support services for proposal preparation and effort estimation
- Coordinate project teams
- Participate in internal and external workshops and meetings on information security, including business travel to customer sites as part of projects
Requirements
- University degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s) in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a comparable field
- At least 10 years of relevant, hands-on professional experience in IT, including 5 years in information security
- At least 5 years of experience advising on IT-Grundschutz requirements
- Confident use of tools for modeling IT security requirements (SAVe, Verinice, HiScout Grundschutz, or other ISMS tools)
- Required certifications: BSI IT-Grundschutz Practitioner, BSI IT-Grundschutz Consultant
- Enthusiasm for embedding information security into projects
- Team player with strong communication skills and a preference for a trusting work environment
- Excellent communication skills in German and English (business fluent)
