- Events playbook: Define and execute aion’s community and events strategy aligned with GTM goals
- Growth loops: Build repeatable growth engines through events, content, referrals, and community programs (hackathons, Builder Nights, AI dinners, workshops)
- Ambassadors: Identify, activate, and nurture power users, early champions, and community leaders**
- Events
- End-to-end execution: Own in-person and virtual events: concept, budget, speakers, promotion, logistics, and follow-up
- Bay Area presence: Run consistent, high-quality events across SF/Bay Area
- Community platforms: Own and grow Discord/Slack/GitHub Discussions via AMAs, launches, demos, and webinars**
- Content & Messaging
- Lightweight content: Event copy, community posts, newsletters, recaps, social threads
- Storytelling: Surface community-driven insights in collaboration with Product and Marketing
- Analytics: Track engagement, activation, and community-driven pipeline****
Requirements
- 3–5+ years in Growth, Community, Events, or Marketing, ideally at an early-stage startup
- Strong event operations instincts: you are extremely detail-oriented (invite lists, Wi-Fi, flow, swag)
- AI-literate: comfortable discussing training vs. inference with developers
- Social-native (AI Twitter / viral Linkedin intuition)
- Scrappy, autonomous, and calm under pressure
- London, NY or Bay Area-based or willing to travel regularly for events
