About the role

  • Operations Finance Business Partner supporting financial reporting in the Operations business. Collaborating with production leaders to drive efficiencies and manage costs at the Distribution Centre

Responsibilities

  • Support the Operations Financial Controller in achieving group objectives
  • Build close partnerships across the Operations business ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Production of the Operations P&L, review and challenge variances with the production area leaders
  • Manage the relationship with the 3rd party Distribution Centre
  • Prepare monthly stock analysis and group reporting including UK consolidated Sales and Margin analysis
  • Maintain standard costs on the system, reviewing purchase price variances and standard cost revaluations
  • Auditing and reporting of the Perpetual Inventory Counts

Requirements

  • Is ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant
  • Has previous manufacturing accounting experience
  • Able to successfully work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • ERP system experience (Microsoft Dynamics AX ideally)
